The Youth Congress (Nagpur) led a protest on Monday at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) against the non-functioning of the CAT scan machine for the last 23 days.
Party general secretary Kunal Puri said, “On October 14 we met dean Dr Abhimanyu Niswade and put firth our demands which we wanted fulfilled within two days, if not we would stage a protest.
The party now plans to file a PIL regarding the non-operational CAT scan.”
Around 40 party members gathered around GMCH’s super specialty hospital (SSH) at 3.30pm. The protest was to be staged in front of the dean’s office, but due to tight police security, they moved it to the college gate. Effigies of Prime Minister
